A one-size fits all solution for any IR installation that works with LED, LCD and Plasma TV’s and is resistant to fluorescent and compact fluorescent (CFL) interference for reliable operation. Color-coded connections with easy-to-use 3.5mm plugs assure correct configurations and reduce the time on a job site.

The CB-140 supports up to four components using the Russound IRE-1 single emitters or up to eight components using Russound IRE-2 dual emitters (also compatible with Russound SaphIR emitters). It also includes a jack for a Russound SLM-1 surface-mount receiver or 854 tabletop receiver.

CB-140 IR Connecting Block

The Russound CB-140 makes it easy to connect infrared accessories together. The hub of an IR repeater system, it receives signals from remotely located infrared receivers and channels them to your source components and other equipment.

IRE-1 Single IR Emitter

The IRE-1 IR Emitter transfers infrared commands to a single audio-video component or other device.

Its head attaches to the component’s IR sensor with an adhesive pad. The emitter’s cable plugs into an emitter jack on a CB-140 IR connecting block or multiroom controller or hub (also works with Russound SaphIR components). Color-coded connections with easy-to-use 3.5mm plugs (compatible with CB-140 connecting block) assure correct configurations and reduce the time on a job site.

IRE-1 Single IR Emitter

The SLM-1 is a compact surface-mount IR receiver that can be located almost anywhere. The SLM-1 blends unobtrusively, allowing placement where you need it.

With wideband sensitivity and wide-angle reception, the SLM-1 reliably accepts commands from most IR remote controls. It also provides excellent rejection of interference form IR sources like LCD, LED or Plasma TVs and Fluorescent and compact fluorescent lights.

CB-PS Connecting Block Power Supply

The CB-PS is Russound’s versatile 12-volt, 500 mA power supply for infrared products and other applications. It provides regulated power from an outlet-mounted transformer through a 3-foot (1m) cord with a 2.1 mm coaxial plug.
