3DTV Glasses

In order to watch 3DTV, you need to have 3D TV Glasses. The 3D Glasses purpose is to make sure that each eye is seeing the correct image. Having a different image being viewed by each eye is what creates the 3D effect. 3D TV glasses come in two types - active and passive.

Active 3D glasses sync electronically with the 3DTV, in order ensure that each eye is getting the correct image, and passive glasses simply use a coloured filter to filter out certain parts of the image to each eye, so that each sees something different, again creating the 3D effect.

The active glasses have a rechargeable battery built in, and you simply recharge them when necessary, while passive glasses have no need for batteries.
